![]() each week until June 27.When North Hills Live stopped by Wellness Wednesday, CycleBar was setting up 48 stationary bikes in Midtown Park for back-to-back cycle classes.“We are behind North Hills. Boxing, barre, and CrossFit are on the schedule for the current Wellness Wednesday season which takes place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Further to that if you want amazing results (if you put in the work) then look for Erick.Wellness Wednesdays on the lawn of Midtown Park give fitness enthusiasts an opportunity to try 12 distinctly different workouts from some of the most popular fitness studios and gyms in Raleigh, and the classes are completely free and open to the public. If this gym is in your neighborhood, I would recommend it to anyone who can follow though on their fitness goals. Approachable staff and fun members too, regulars know one another is openly friendly to everyone. The facility is in a convenient location for myself, is well equipped and clean. Thanks to Erick I am chomping at the bit to get out and excel and my summer sports this year. He's enthusiastic and genuinely excited to help people meet their goals. I could not be happier with the trainer Erick that I have been partnered up with. It is an investment money wise but I am very satisfied with the results I am getting. I knew what my fitness goals were, and that realistically I would need the assistance of a personal trainer. That being said I have been here at the North Hill location for about two months. I haven't tried any classes, as I like training by myself, but it sure looks like the people are having fun in them.įantastic experience: I have no basis for comparison as this is the only gym with which I have been a member. I was worried it would be a bit of a muscle-head type of place, but there is a very wide range of people working out, from teenagers trying to get some definition to seniors trying to get some back. This gym is well maintained, clean, and overall the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. ![]() She is working with me to build strength while at the same time rehabbing a bad shoulder and building flexibility. Now I've happily begun working with Sandra, who gives me just the right amount of precise instructions and pushy egging-on. After he left to go to university, I worked with Stephen, who is now an assistant manager. They set me up with a trainer, Matt, who got me enthusiastically working out right away. I would highly highly recommend them as trainers!! The environment at the gym is similar to that of a family! All of the members and the staff know each other on a first name basis and if there are any issues within the gym, the general manager, Anand, is very quick on correcting the issue! The gym has recently received a plethora of new equipment! There are so many varieties on the types of equipment they have, as well, they have a ton of equipment!! And the classes they offer are unbelievable! If you want a gym that cares about quality over quantity, a GM that listens to the members concerns and cares about their experience, and PT’s that help motivate you to exceed your fitness goals, then World Health is the place to be!! I’d give it a 6/5 rating if I could )įantastic experience: I started coming to World Health North Hill three Christmases ago after I got size 40 jeans as a present. I have personally had the awesome experience of working with Darine Alame and Steve Evangelsita as my personal trainers. The fitness instructors are very knowledgeable. The cleaning staff are always on top of the game in terms of keeping the equipment clean. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. I have never in my life felt so comfortable at a gym before. Fantastic experience: As a female in a very male populated scene, it can be a little intimidating walking into a gym, but not World Health.
